Checklist

Work on electrical systems or equipment must be done without danger (risk of injury).  This requires a Safe System of Work to be adopted at all times.

Can you say ..............
Safety is at the core of our business and a top priority at Board level ?

The basics of a Safe System of Work require:

  • Training:   in safety rule content and application
  • Competent Workers:   assessed and appointed
  • Safety Locks:   to secure points of isolation
  • Caution Notices:  displayed at points of isolation
  • Danger Notices:   displayed on adjacent live equipment
  • Potential Indicators:   to prove dead
  • Safety Document System:   Permit to Work, Limitation of Access etc
  • Monitoring, Auditing and Continuous Improvement
